Sound and Vibration

Like every being in the universe, we humans also have natural and unique vibrations. According to quantum physics, every cell consists of vibrating particles of matter that come together with magnetic forces. In other words, this is our nature. Sound is everywhere and has a very strong effect on our lives. Even on a simple walk in the open air, the harmonic vibration-sound of nature surrounds us. This harmony is a basic need for us humans. However, modern living conditions are far from this natural balance that we need. In our daily lives, we are exposed to countless unnatural vibrations-sounds and our natural balance is disrupted. Many elements in our lives surrounded by technology are the source of these vibrations-sounds that have negative effects. This order that we are accustomed to is actually not natural at all and we need help to return to our most natural state, the codes which we were created.

Sound Therapy

This is where Sound Therapy comes into play and its purpose is to help us gain an optimal-natural vibration by consciously using healing sound waves. Approximately sixty percent of an adult human body consists of an element that is very affected by vibration-sound, namely water. Here, the Sound Therapy aims to tune you to what is natural with vibrations and sounds by taking advantage of this physiological structure of the human being. In other words, the process is very clear and concrete. Sound Therapy is a therapy method that benefits from the physics in nature.

A Sound Bath session, which draws its power from the tremendous effects of vibration and sound, is like getting a massage at the cellular level. A perfect escape from the stress of modern life, the Sound Bath cleanses and balances our body, mind and soul with its meditative effects. Sound has a great effect on our emotions and health. Sound makes us feel happy, energetic and relaxed. A deep sense of peace and calm surrounds us during the session. Both our emotional and physical traumas are relieved and we feel more alive. All our stress and tension are literally washed away. The reason we call the practice a Sound Bath is this analogy.

In Sound Bath sessions, where many instruments such as Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, bells, gongs and even the human voice are used, free sounds are used, unlike music as we know it, which is created with a certain rhythm and melody. Although each session is planned in advance in terms of content and purpose, it is a kind of improvised performance that draws strength from the synergy created by the effect of the participant and the therapist.

Fundamentals of Sound Therapy

The foundations of sound therapy date back to ancient times. Findings dating back approximately 3,500 years show that the healing effects of sound were discovered and used by people. The homeland of many instruments we use in Sound Bath sessions today is the Far East. As the name suggests, Tibetan bowls are primitive instruments used by Tibetan monks in their ancient rituals and meditation studies. These instruments and therapy-meditation methods that we still use today have been passed down through generations, developed and enriched by adding new techniques, and have taken their current form.

Sessions

Sound Bath sessions, which do not require experience and are suitable for everyone, are carried out as individual or group studies. In group sessions, the aim is to benefit from the countless benefits of therapy suitable for everyone in the light of a theme determined by the therapist in advance. In individual sessions, a personalized study is planned in line with the theme determined in the interview with the participant. Techniques where instruments are placed one-on-one on the body are also used, aiming to reveal the effects of the therapy specific to that person. In both types of sessions, participants focus only on listening with their eyes closed, lying down or in a different position where they can be comfortable. Sessions begin with breathing practice and meditative work. After this preparation phase, all that remains is to leave the body, mind and soul to the fascinating power of sound and vibrations with a pure intention...
